MAP Scores
Teachers, please check the Achievement Status & Growth Summary with Quadrant Chart. This has A LOT of information on how well your students performed on the Spring MAP.

CLICK HERE to view how to view this report.

Our Site’s Goals (Not SPSA)
Our site’s goals were originally targeted for 1st semester growth: “First Semester Goal: Reduce the number of 6th Grade Students scoring in the lowest two percentile ranges as determined by Fall and Winter NWEA MAP scores in Math.”
While we didn’t make the goal the first semester, once we have the Student Summary Report available, we measure how we performed on this goal for the Second Semester. This information will be shared with Department Chairs to share at this week’s meetings.

Math Camp!
Please be sure to turn in any green RSVP notices from families that will send their students to the Math Camp happening at CMS this summer.

Crystal MIddle Extended School Year
In addition to Math Camp, Crytal will host our Summer School program focused on Math and Reading Intervention, with electives to make a productive and engaging experience. Mr. Lau will be the teacher/admin in charge of ESY.. We are still looking for 2 teachers to apply!

“Crystal All” on Google Messenger
Needless to say, the volume of communication on “Crystal All” throughout the testing window has been overwhelming. Going forward, use “Crystal All” to communicate the following:
  • Class Suspension
  • An emergency (health, safety, etc) needing immediate assistance
  • See below for other instances

One Teacher/Three Admin Chat
All other themes, including discipline, cell phones, restrooms, Support Calls, etc:
  • Create a chat with Admin - Teaher, Jay, John, and Lisa

Postscript - Extension 5911
Teachers have reported that this extension to immediately contact the office has not been reliable. To address this, TSS extended the number of rings before going to voice mail to 2 minutes. Hopefully, this will improve reliability.

PBIS Reminders
Please be sure to award points for the behaviors YOU WANT TO SEE, particularly, to students that arrive to class on time each period.
