End of the Year Happenings
Promotion: Like last year, 8th graders will practice during 2nd period on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday next week. The entire program, including rehearsals and staff roles, will be detailed in a packet to be distributed by Kiana. Thank you in advance to everyone for supporting this event and making it special for our students and families!
Day Time Spring Concert is Thursday, May 30th with 2 performances.

- Assembly B is from 10:04 to 11:04 See the Bell Schedule. Reminder to have students leave backpacks in the classroom and review good audience behavior.

Thank you to: Balthazor, Gilson, Scicluna, Doherty, Lay, Thomas, Lipsey, Halls, Fisher, Solomon, Spinelli, Williamson, Molina, Reynolds, Dean, Tomas, Lau, Currie, Brodersen, Sorensen, Haynes, Benckendorf, King, Fee, Victorio, and Warner for completing your adjunct duty for the year!!
Evening Spring Concert is also Wednesday, May 29th
Adjunct is available right after school to help set up from 3:15 to 4:30, and again from 6:20 to 9pm. DOUBLE HOURS are being offered to help those that haven’t got their adjunct completed.
Yearbook Distribution Event - The great yearbook distribution, party, and signing time is Friday, May 31st after school. The event is on the quad, and adjunct hours are available for providing additional supervision. DOUBLE HOURS are being offered!
Textbook Collections - Please remember to turn in your Teacher Editions with the student’s textbooks, per the date Laura has scheduled for you. Deliveries to the Library begin May 30th and finish June 4th. The textbook turn in schedule can be found HERE.
Chromebook Collections - Not all Chromebooks have been collected because there were a few students that missed the opportunity as a class. The straggling students will be contacted by the office with request to bring the device to school. As they trickle back, direct students to the library and please let Laura know she can collect it and have it inventoried. We will notify students of fines during the last week of school.
End Of Year Celebration - All students are able to attend activities this Friday, May 31st. Please see the attached spreadsheet for staff roles hosting which responsibilities. Mrs. Spinelli and Mr. Lau will distribute a sheet listing where students attend. Here is our schedule for Friday:

Bargaining Updates: A new bargaining update was released. It can be found here.
Referrals Reminder - Teachers - Every single referral written on this campus (all 1,398 of them!) has been handled and updated by admin in to the new electronic referral system. Thank you to the following teachers for “clearing” their referrals and marking a resolution in the system: Balthazor, Thomas, Halls, Mulks, Spinelli, Molina, Dean, Batongbacal, and Warner!
Teachers, if you still have to resolve your referrals, please do this before the end of the year to avoid an awkward phone call or email to a parent regarding discipline after the school year is finished.
End of the Year Reminders for Staff
- The End of Year Checklist will be distributed to teachers at our Tuesday, June 4th Faculty Meeting
- Department Chair Positions for 2019 - 2020 will be announced on Friday, June 7th
- The grading window for the 2nd Semester Report Cards is now open. It CLOSES FRIDAY, JUNE 7TH AT 3PM.
