Teachers Must Adhere to the MAP Testing Window

A good crew works in sync when the pressure is on. We all need to follow the MAP Testing Calendar in order to make the testing window. If you have an concern or problem with the MAP or District Writing Assessment, please let Alison Guernsey know. She is our MAP Coordinator.

Course Selections

(For current 6th and 7th grade students only) - Teachers, please use your time with the Chromebooks to complete course selections for next year's Schedule (If you haven't done so already!) Note to students - Their performance on the MAP impacts which classes they will be rostered to for next year.


Zwiers Coaching Day #2: Tuesday, 2/13


To help us continue to improve our Academic Conversations in the classrooms, Jeff Zwiers will again be walking with the site with our Department Chairs Tuesday, 2/13. Ms. Onick, Molina, Doherty and Mrs. Spinelli will be coaching ways to implement and improve Academic Conversations in your classrooms. Please look for an email from the Chairs with more information about the opportunity for a visit.

4.0 Grade Point Party: Friday, 2/16

Students that earned a 4.0 first semester will be invited to a special reception during 6th period in the MPR this Friday, 2/16/18. The students will receive a special invitation that Kiana will distribute and these will serve as students' pass to get in to the event from class. Please dismiss 4.0 students after 6th period attendance is taken.

  • Make Up/Spring Picture Day Reminder: This Tuesday, 2/13, for students with paid envelopes.
  • Department Chairs Meeting with Admin, Tuesday, 2/13 at 3:15 in Room E102
  • Reminder: SSC Meeting this Wednesday, 2/14 at 3:15 in the Library.
  • Honor Assembly is this Thursday, 2/15 in the GYM, 1st through 3rd period
  • Superintendent's Open Forum is this Thursday, 2/15 in the Library from 3:45 to 4:45
  • Scheduled Superintendent Site Walk to CMS is this Friday, 2/16, beginning at 9am

New Information

Human Resources Update

Per FSUTA Contract, there will be an evaluation training provided by admin for all temporary and probationary teachers on February 15th at 8:30 in the Library. If you're not sure what contract you're working under, please ask admin. The training is not mandatory, but we kindly ask you to mark the date and RSVP.
