Continuing - The "English Language Proficiency Assessment for California" (ELPAC) Exam for English Learners

All English Learners on campus will continue the annual standardized test to measure their progress toward proficiency with the ELPAC. 
Stella Williamson will continue administer the test in the Library and will schedule all EL's with various days through early March. While she is in the library, teachers cannot send students to finish MAP or other forms of tests.

Our school site effectiveness surveys for LCAP have been sent out. Please complete the survey by March 1st.

Congratulations Joshua Lejano - Crystal Middle School's Student of the Year 2017 - 2018! He will be recognized at the March 8th Board Meeting.

  • Department Meetings - 3:15 to 4:15, Tuesday, 2/20/18
  • T.E.A.M. Workshop "Compassion Fatigue and Wellbeing" in the CMS Library on Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30.

California Healthy Kids Survey - Also Part of the LCAP

Who: All 7th grade students
When: March 5th - March 9th
Students will take the survey with Chromebooks and there will be an opportunity for make ups the following week.

Department Chair Meeting Rather than pull Department Chairs in to a meeting to look at our data, all Department Chairs will receive a binder/packet with our school's data to review, reflect and share with their respective department members. All data tells a story, and ours does too. Please see your Department Chair to find out more. Please note, our Faculty Meeting for January is on Tuesday, January 30th. Upcoming TEAM Workshop on LGBT/SSOGIE on Wednesday at 3:30 in the Grange Library.  T.E.A.M. workshops are designed to bring caregivers, families and staff together as we support students throughout the school year. Meetings are once a month and qualify for salary credit or buyback hours for those that attend. For staff, meetings run from 3:30 to 5pm. A second session for families/caregivers will be on the same dates from 6 to 8pm. Wednesday is the End of the Semester The aeries grading window is open!   It closes next  Thursday, 12/21/17, at 3pm.
