MAP Assessments Window 9/18 to 10/6/17


Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) computer adaptive interim assessments provide a personalized assessment experience by adapting to each student’s learning level.  If a student answers a question correctly, the test follows up with a more challenging question.  If a student answers incorrectly, the test follows up with an easier question.  MAP precisely measures every student’s achievement as well as growth over time. TJ Vidales is our coordinator and her Master Schedule has all the information you will need about the MAP and how Chrome Books will be shared throughout the building. Thank you, TJ!!

QUIZ For New Cougar Teachers 

This formative assessment is for new teachers to complete in about 5 - 10 minutes. The results from the quiz will shape admins' support for new teachers, but all staff are welcome to take it! Thank you for your participation!

TEAM Workshops:

T.E.A.M. Workshops and Discussion groups are designed to bring staff together as you support students throughout the school year. Our first workshop is this Thursday, September 21st beginning at 3:30 pm in the Crystal Middle School Library. Teachers, the workshops qualify for buyback or salary credit!
The groups will meet once a month from September through March, alternating locations between Crystal and Grange. After the staff workshops finish, Caregiver/Family workshops will begin at 6pm to cover the same material (a dialer went out to all families inviting them & translation will be provided). We hope to see you there!!

Department Chair Meeting Rather than pull Department Chairs in to a meeting to look at our data, all Department Chairs will receive a binder/packet with our school's data to review, reflect and share with their respective department members. All data tells a story, and ours does too. Please see your Department Chair to find out more. Please note, our Faculty Meeting for January is on Tuesday, January 30th. Wednesday is the End of the Semester The aeries grading window is open!   It closes next  Thursday, 12/21/17, at 3pm.
