June 3rd to June 7th

Last Week - Great Job Everyone!
Thank you to each and every Cougar Staff Member for all of your hard work this year. Our school has continued moving in the right direction and it could not have happened without the contributions, large and small, public or private, from each and every one of you. I am truly thankful that looking back at our success and challenges this year, we have always worked very hard and as a team. Thank you for all your hard work this year! Celebration time is this week!!
Staff Meeting - Tuesday, June 4th
At our June Faculty Meeting, starting promptly at 3:15, we will discuss check out procedures, our spring MAP scores, schoolwide expectations for starting 2019, the student agendas, and cyber safety.

 Checking Out & Enjoying Summer
The staff check-out list will be distributed and discussed at our Faculty Meeting. The first day for check-out is Friday, June 7th, which is also a work day. The list must be completed and signed off by an administrator prior to leaving the site for the summer.

 Promotion Activities - Everyone, Please Refer to the Promotion Packet Placed in your Boxes!!
  • Practice on Monday, June 3rd, during 2nd period. If you have 8th grade students, please take roll and then bring them to the gym.
  • Practice on Tuesday, June 4th, and Wednesday, June 6th, during 2nd and possibly 3rd periods. Take roll and then send students to their assigned teacher for 2nd period. 
  • Thursday, June 7th, 10:30 am Promotion, during 2nd period. All classes will be held inside 3rd period for the duration of the Promotion ceremony to limit disruption. Again, please see in lieu coverage sheet to see if you will be needed to cover any teacher’s class on promotion day. (Promotion Day Bell Schedule)

Department Chair Meeting Rather than pull Department Chairs in to a meeting to look at our data, all Department Chairs will receive a binder/packet with our school's data to review, reflect and share with their respective department members. All data tells a story, and ours does too. Please see your Department Chair to find out more. Please note, our Faculty Meeting for January is on Tuesday, January 30th. Upcoming TEAM Workshop on LGBT/SSOGIE on Wednesday at 3:30 in the Grange Library.  T.E.A.M. workshops are designed to bring caregivers, families and staff together as we support students throughout the school year. Meetings are once a month and qualify for salary credit or buyback hours for those that attend. For staff, meetings run from 3:30 to 5pm. A second session for families/caregivers will be on the same dates from 6 to 8pm. Wednesday is the End of the Semester The aeries grading window is open!   It closes next  Thursday, 12/21/17, at 3pm. Updates from our Community Liaison, Dave Knott: Crystal will hold a Information Assembly in each gym class featuring guest speakers from throughout the community.Our guest speakers will be: Michael Moffat, Senior District Director, Boy Scouts of America, Troop 100 2.
