January 14 - 18th

Our Mission
"Strong Bonds, Overcoming Challenges Together"
As discussed, at our January staff meeting, our Letterhead has been been updated. More work to follow!

All Staff Survey - Please Complete!
Thank you Nicole Williams, Clement Lau, Darin Drumheller, Katelyn Lipsey, Ed Fee, Anthonio Fisher, Jennifer Warner, Noemi Lay, Alex Solomon, Alice Currie, Maggie Halls, and Rica Grieg for completing the Dashboard Survey!
Why do this survey? We ALL can do something to improve measurable student achievement on the CAASPP. Your responses will support our work of overcoming our challenges together!
For those that haven't yet completed the survey. Here is question #1: "Look at the Data on our Dashboard for students scoring in the RED in Math. These student groups are: African American students, English Learners, Hispanic, 2 or More Races, Socio Economically Disadvantaged, and Students with Disabilities. In your role, what do you intend to do to improve these student groups' performance?"
See last week's blog post to see our students' achievement data.

MAP This Week
Congratulations to all teachers that are "MAP Test Certified". The certificates will be passed this week. The MAP Handbook can be found here and has been updated with the information that Joel shared last week. We got this!

Feedback on Present Levels
It is really important to give feedback to case managers service providers, school psychs, etc. in order for us to make IEP timelines... As noted at our December staff meeting, our Title 1 Funds are being used on a program called "Insights to Behavior". This program can be used to quickly generate quality behavior plans. Once the approval process is completed, we will have access to this program that can be used to support all students.
