Pupil Engagement: After School Tutoring The  academic  program  at Crystal Middle School strives to provide  Universal  Access  for  all  students  through  differentiated  instruction, a variety of course offerings, and targeted practice offered after school to assist  students  with challenges in Reading, Mathematics and English Language Development (ELD).   Students with a priority invitation for After School Tutoring using Edgenuity My Path for English &/or Math have been screened according to their most recent MAP Assessment data. Students enrolled in the English 3D program have also been screened. Invitations for My Path Priority 1 and Priority 2 students and students in need of additional ELD support with E3D will go out this week. Students should turn in RSVP's back to the office to secure their spot. The invitation can be viewed here . Safety : AED Training Memo:  Crystal Middle School has an AED on campus.  It is located in the Nurse’s Office.  A memo will be sent to you explaining it's use. Please read it. Curriculum : MAP Test is complete. Please check your students' performance. Reference this document to see the kinds of questions your students are able to answer. Many of our students can not yet answer questions in the 6+ Reference. Use the K-5 as necessary. The PBIS Reward App will be used to record points for students for the following positive behaviors: On Time Wearing ID Being Safe* Being Kind* Being Responsible* We are no longer passing out Cougar Cards!  All staff can assign students points in PBIS Rewards. Please let admin know if you need help. The students are already getting fired up to earn points... please jump in and enjoy distributing points for following the Cougar Way*! Promoting Positive Behavior Our focus for this month is to improve students' in school attendance and getting them to go to class on time for the 2 most challenging periods - 2nd and 5th. To do this, we are going to be focused on the two most challenging periods each day: 2nd and 5th period for 7th and 8th grade teachers. 1st and 4th period for 6th graders due to block schedule. All teachers - Take prompt attendance for these two periods and log points for students that arrive on time and wearing an ID to these 2 periods. Thank yo
