School Site Council Meeting this Wednesday

At this Wednesday's School Site Council, we will revise our school's Safety Plan, motion to approve funding for the SSICA app that allows staff to assign points for positive behavior, and continue to look at ways to address Math Interventions.

PBIS Team Meeting This Thursday

As was announced, we have had some changes to who is exactly on the PBIS team. The team still consists of Clement Lau, Alice Currie, Maurice Mouton, Nicole Williams, David Knott and Admin. Any certificated staff interested in joining, please let Admin know, or simply come by!

Possible Adjunct Opportunity This Thursday

The Grange team has indicated that they may need some help supervising the CMS vs. Grange basketball games this Thursday. If you are interested in helping out an earning adjunct hours as a result, please let me know and I will let Grange know to contact you.

Request for Assistance Form:

Remember the RFA? It is the form anyone can use to refer a student to the PBIS team for additional help. Since teachers have been filling out the form, our support providers have been working on ways to support the students, but without a way for teachers to stay in the loop... until now! If you have filled out an RFA, you will now know what is happening with the student. When "picked up" by the PBIS team &/or support providers, the updates go on a Google Doc that will be shared with you. Please be on the lookout for these shared docs! A reminder that the RFA link can found on our school's website under "Quick Links".

Department Chair Meeting Rather than pull Department Chairs in to a meeting to look at our data, all Department Chairs will receive a binder/packet with our school's data to review, reflect and share with their respective department members. All data tells a story, and ours does too. Please see your Department Chair to find out more. Please note, our Faculty Meeting for January is on Tuesday, January 30th. Upcoming TEAM Workshop on LGBT/SSOGIE on Wednesday at 3:30 in the Grange Library.  T.E.A.M. workshops are designed to bring caregivers, families and staff together as we support students throughout the school year. Meetings are once a month and qualify for salary credit or buyback hours for those that attend. For staff, meetings run from 3:30 to 5pm. A second session for families/caregivers will be on the same dates from 6 to 8pm. Wednesday is the End of the Semester The aeries grading window is open!   It closes next  Thursday, 12/21/17, at 3pm.
