Welcome to April! It’s CAASPP Testing Season! Please explore these reports and know where your students are for fine tuning of skills to be tested on the CAASPP. Teachers, please share practice problems from SmarterBalanced.org with your 4th period students to help them alleviate anxiety about the upcoming test. Network Upgrades Over Spring Break, TSS performed a significant upgrade to the network at our site. Their work involved cleaning up, simplifying, changing configurations, and updating the networking equipment located at each wing of the school. Look for better performance from the devices on campus. Chromebook Upgrades Going forward, whenever Google publishes an update for the ChromeOS, it is downloaded in the background on to our ChromeBooks, allowing ChromeBooks to be updated in a non-intrusive way and to ensure that they are fully updated for testing. Duty Stations Teachers, please be on time to your duty stations. If you can not be at your duty station, it is your responsibility to find a substitute for yourself. Please let admin know if there are any reasons you can't be on time to your duty. We must always provide adequate supervision for our student to ensure a safe campus. Duty Assignments can be found here. Passing Periods In addition, Teachers, please be at your door greeting students and supervising the walkways during passing period. To keep our school safe, we need to be at our doors during all passing periods!  Thank you to Mr. Blaylock, Ms. Molina, Mr. Mulks, Ms. Solomon, and the PE department for doing this regularly. GREAT GATE NIGHT Thank you to Mrs. Williamson, Mrs. Halls, Mr. Dean, Mrs. Lewis and everyone that helped make it happen for a great GATE Night!  The students did a great job pitching their products during the Mega Shark Tank! F105 Students Performed Beautifully And thanks to the judges! This Week: Regarding our Active Shooter Drill on Monday Classrooms are advised to "consider participating to the point of barricading doors" , as discussed   in the attached memo . How far your participation goes with this step is up to each teacher, and should be reflective of material presented in the "Run/Hide/Fight"   training video .  To clarify, teachers should commit to whatever level of participation they believe necessary to impress upon themselves and their students the understanding of this step (hide - barricade) in response to an emergency situation for Active Shooter.  For example on Monday, the minimum level is  viewing the
