CAASPP Testing Updates Testing on the ELA Performance Test (PT) begins Monday April 30th - Thursday May 3rd in all English classes! Here are a few reminders for the ELA Performance Task.  Be mindful of the neighboring classes taking tests, please try to eliminate distractions and/or noise. Ask students to travel quietly in the halls.  Students may NOT use any electronic devices during the test or after completion of the test, this includes Chromebooks.  Have activities prepared for students who finish early. Students MAY use scratch paper to take notes during the ELA Performance Task. Please ask all students to write their names on the paper, collect it at the end of the testing session and return it on the following testing day. After completion of the test, collect the scratch paper and shred.  Remember to report all absences or incomplete tests on the Google Form, make-ups will begin this week in the library!  Please refer to the Teacher CAASPP Testing Dashboard HERE

Testing Window Update #1 - Students with IEP's: Testing in Separate Setting Will Be with Standby Co-Teachers: 1st Period - 6th Period - Library 2. Testing Window Update #2 - Students That are Disruptive During a Test Session: Call the office to request a student to be removed. A monitor will come to your room to pick up the student and escort them to the following locations: 1st & 2nd Period - Office 3rd through 6th - E102 3. Why Do We Exist?  To Ensure Every Student Is Ready for High School With All The Skills Necessary To Earn A Diploma Or A Certificate Of Completion SPSA Monitoring April marks the time when we take a summative evaluation of our current year's goals and use them to author a new plan for the upcoming year. Below is the Evaluation from the 2017/2018 SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement). It evaluates how effective our tactics were for improving student achievement and meeting the District's 4 LCAP Goals. Click on the image to see the entire document. Next Year's Plan Coming Out This Week April also marks the time when we author a new SPSA (with last year's tactics reviewed, revised or strengthened) for the upcoming school year.
